What differentiates Hilo Bike Hub from the rest? We understand the ruggedness of the Hawai'i Island terrain, the extreme diversity of our climate and what it does to our bicycles. The end result is building a bicycle that will meet and exceed the needs of our Big Island clientele. For example, all of our adult bikes feature a pro-build assembly complete with waterproof lubrication of front and rear hubs, bottom bracket extraction and waterproof lubrication, as well as waterproof lubrication to all bolts. Full suspension bikes also receive lubrication and proper torque to all pivot bolts and linkage systems. Most bikes require between one and two hours for such an intense assembly, valued at $120-$240. In addition, new bike sales include pro-fitting, adjusting bikes to the rider to maximize comfort as well as performance. New bikes receive one year of free servicing.

However, if you purchase a new bike directly from Trek, Specialized or Cannondale and have it sent to Hilo Bike Hub for assembly, you will get only a basic assembly, and not the overhaul assembly unless you pay the extra $120 to $240. So if you see a bike online, call us or email us. We can usually meet or beat their online price. Then by purchasing it directly through us, you will receive the overhaul assembly at no extra charge!
